In 1985, the park opened the Wildwater Kingdom, which includes a water park. At the time, the park featured a wave pool and tube slides. The park’s parking lot was doubled, which allowed for greater capacity.

The Wildwater Kingdom is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. During the summer, the park is one of the largest water parks in the country, with more than a dozen waterslides, pools and relaxing pools. It’s located on the grounds of Dorney Park and is included in your admission fee.

The park was purchased in the summer of 1985 by Harris Weinstein. He was a former employee and worked to expand the park. A midway was added near White Water Landing, along with concession stands and a carousel. The park’s name was changed to Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom. This was done in order to promote a “two parks for the price of one” concept.

The new midway redesigned the look of the park. A few rides were relocated, while the laser ride was painted in neon green and purple. The park also added a new bumper car attraction called Dodgem. A new ferris wheel is also returning to the park.

The park’s ride rating system helps guests select rides based on their own experiences. In addition, guests can choose a Fast Lane pass to avoid lines on some of the most popular rides. The park offers a free mobile app. There are also large print and braille guides available.

The park has a number of different attractions, including several roller coasters. There are floorless coasters, suspended coasters, inverted coasters, and a log flume. The park also has a children’s water play area. You can rent a stroller or wheelchair for an additional cost. In addition, Dorney Park offers live entertainment, an interactive area for kids and a variety of special events.

The park is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and is closed on the weekends in October. For more information on the park’s schedule and ticket pricing, visit their website. They also offer a season pass. If you purchase a Season Pass, you can visit the park as often as you like. If you have a child under two, admission is free.
